Water View

My sister-in-law from Christchurch joined Fergus the dog and me for an early morning walk along the Taylor River tracks. Some river-side vegetation has been removed recently allowing a previously unseen view of the upper water-way. The early light was turning the distant mountains a lovely shade of gold.
