Armory Point

Another ferry ride (I **like** Sydney Harbour Ferries) up the Parramatta River, this time as far as the Newington Armory along with its stylish cafe, where the ferry is stopping whilst the Olympic Park wharf is under renovation. Designed to make me feel at home. "Newington". And cranes as well. What could be better?

We had coffee here, and then ferry hopped back to Balmain, where we had a sweaty walk up the hill to Darling Road. Once there, we took our pick of the excellent eateries, and chose the superb Our Place on Darling, enjoying the guitar duo playing outside on the pavement terrace.

So that was the weekend over. Work starts here. But much has been seen and learned about Sydney.
