TSS Earnslaw getting Ready to Leave

Back Blip form my holiday down south in January

After such a beautiful, but too hot a day yesterday, today was warm and over cast in the morning. We took a trip to Arrowtown in the morning and when we got back the rain came down. It wasn't cold and the evening was dry for a while then it rained for the rest of the night.

The TSS Earnslaw is a 1912 Edwardian vintage twin screw steamer plying the waters of Lake Wakatipu. It is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Central Otago and the only remaining commercial passenger- carrying coal-fired steamships in the southern hemisphere.

I have been on the journey up the lake many times so we didn't do it this time.
