Spring

After all the dullness and rain finally there was some sun today. And the flowers came out. Beautiful!
Miss E had a party this afternoon. Her friend Miss S had a Nerf Gun party in Milton Keynes. Lots of six and seven year olds madly running around shooting - it was fabulous by all accounts!
After the party Mr K brought Miss L over to meet us. He headed to John Lewis to sort our new television and the Little Misses and I headed up to Leeds to see Mrs G.
What a hideous journey!! 120 miles on the M1 and about 115 of them are currently being dug up - by invisible people - and you can only drive at 40mph.
They tease you with tiny stretches of glorious 80mph before the invisible people start digging up another stretch.
Aaaaghhhhhhhhhh!!!!
But we made it eventually and it was so lovely to see Mrs G, Mr T and the boys.
Within minutes Miss E and Mr O had disappeared off upstairs to play pinball, Miss L and Mr L were dressed up as Elsa and Flash and running round giggling, I had a cup of tea and Mr T was cooking Chinese pork stir fry.
The journey all forgotten!!
There were quite a few hours of playing and giggling and squealing but eventually the children all fell asleep. By about 1030pm!!
There was quite a lot of giggling from Mrs G and me too - translating Stick Man and Miss L's beautiful bottom sticking out!!
We stayed up too late as usual chatting. So good to be here!
