'Fishing The Dam'

Dylan had his mate Soren around after school today. After playing soccer out the back paddock for a while they wanted to try their luck at fishing in the dam at the very bottom of the paddock.

I took the three of them down there with the rods and reels and we spent half an hour or so fishing without any luck before we had to head home for dinner. To be honest I don't think it was ever about catching fish, but more to do with spending some time with your buddy doing something interesting and a little bit dangerous. They seemed to have lots of fun casting the lines out and reeling them in again.

Bella had a hand reel and as you can see in the shot she had worked out a way of fishing without having to use her hands, brilliant.
