The fishmonger

Busy day visiting old friends and on the way we passed by the shack occupied by this fishmonger who receives his fresh fish every afternoon at 3 from a lorry that comes from a huge reservoir with the day's catch.  There are shacks like these all around the suburbs selling fish.  We had a delicious meal and I was staggered to find they still had an ornament I had made their children when they were small - they are now married and have children of their own.  In the garden was the most enchanting little nest from a weaver bird who had actually found thread to 'sew' two leaves together and hang his woven nest in between.  The pair had raised 3 but only two made it for one fell out of the nest and was eaten by a lizard.
