The old shopkeeper

This old man was so pleased to see the sneaky couple of photos that I took of him awhile ago and readily agreed to look into my camera properly this time.  It gives such pleasure to be able to return and give people a real copy instead of just looking into the screen.

Kannu the rickshaw driver drove me out to the huge lake where the fish from yesterday's picture are caught.  In the bush on the shoreline nestling in huge blocks of ice were the catch of today which were being sorted into boxes of crushed ice ready to go to Jaipur and Ahmedebad cities overnight.  Some fish were huge - about 2 1/2 feet long - and they take the same quantity out of the lake everyday.  Mind boggling!
