The old village square

Had lunch in the old village today with a friend; we sat so long and chatted so long we were still there at 4pm.  

The Montgomerie Arms, on the other side of the square, is one of the original coaching inns, dating back to 1656.


And you can see the spire of the  Old Parish Church, which was built in 1774.
