Kitchen spider

Off to pilates first thing. I really like the class and seem to be improving. 

This little spider has been living in the kitchen all winter. It seems to spend most of its time on the ceiling but this morning it was exploring the counter tops. I think it is a Zebra jumping spider (Salticus scenicus). 

Husband managed to walk up to the local shops with me after lunch. His back and leg seem to be improving slightly but progress is slow and variable. Nice to get out for a bit of fresh air and to see and hear the red kites soaring over the houses.
