Rude Moon in #Slaithwaite

It's been Moonraking Week in Slaithwaite and the celebrations culminated this evening with a lantern procession and the raking of the moon out of the water of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.

The moon looked quite rude but a good time was had by all.

The procession weaved its way round the streets and ended with the moon suspended on a crane and with a firework display.
