Special Tasting at the North Fork

I first met Eric, the brewer at the North Fork, just over a year ago at Belgianfest in Seattle. He promised me a tasting session of some special Belgian-style beers he was barrel aging at the brewery. 

A few months later, I made some new friends, L and R, at Elizabeth Station. It didn't take long to discover that they were friends of Eric, and also had a long-standing invitation to taste his special brews.

After much discussion of who would be the designated driver, the four of us finally managed to go to the North Fork together for pizza and beer. True to his word, Eric delighted us with samples of his prized beer in the refrigerated cargo shipping container back behind the brewery/restaurant. 

We are all eagerly anticipating the release of some of the beers. These things can't be rushed.
