Mono Monday- Ancient buildings....

NZ is a young country so we don't have many "ancient" buildings.This is near where I live. In the top photo the house was finished in 1883, though story has it, it was started in the 1860's. It was the first house in Canterbury to have hot and cold running water. The lower photo is as it is today. It has been revamped and is now an amazing cafe.
