Monkey goes to Goodison

A truly terrible game of football, especially the first half.
Sky really chose well with this one!
It was so bad Monkey didn't even make the 2nd half!

This was actually the original idea of catching up in Liverpool and Monkey paying his first visit to Goodison Park.  So we duly parked up and got soaking wet in the traditional February football weather and made our way to the Spellow for a pint watching the West Ham match on TV, with Monkey being the only one who cared.

Just before half time he nipped down for the toilet and bar and by the time I caught up with him he'd checked his work phone to find out that they actually wanted him in the centre of town at half 2...the game only kicked off at 2:05.
So, unfortunately being the reason he was in Liverpool in the first place he had to sneak out and get a taxi back into town...didn't miss much.
