Gaining Advanced Access With A Suit, London

I don't know why but this window and the lettering of the commercial vehicle in front of it reminded me of an event that happened in Bond Street a couple of years ago. Two men pulled up outside a very high end jewellers in a very posh car wearing expensive suits so the security on the door allowed them access to the shop. Unfortunately, this was a bad move as they were, in fact, criminals intent on stealing items from within the shop. As far as I remember they were armed and got away with many thousands of pounds worth of goods.
It seemed to be a case of them being  accepted because of their appearance - they looked the part so they must have been the real deal.
