The Best Day

Everyone woke up ridiculously early considering so we all mucked in a had breakfast and chilled out as one by one we got showered and dressed for the day. With little plans we decided to walk from the house to find a beach and get our bearings in day light. Soon we were walking along the sand at Chesterman's beach, sun streaming down and Snagger running between everyone. After walking to Frank's Island we turned back home, and jumped in the car to find some lunch. Maddy and Erica introduced us to Tacofino and it was amazing! Once we were all full to the brim, we sped off to town and wondered in and out of the shops wishing we had endless amounts of money to spend. Coffee-pit stop and more shops, then back in the car to find the brewery which was very cool! Next stop in our fun packed day was the famous Long Beach where all the surfer's hang out. We all bravely went for a paddle (it was freezing!) and Snagger didn't enjoy the surprise wave which got his belly very wet! After we had all freshened up at home, we went down to Long Beach Lodge where we all sipped drinks watching the sunset over the waves on the beach. Dinner was a yummy Katsu curry, then Catan was brought out and Doughboys were made (and also set off the fire alarm!). Eventually we all dragged ourselves to bed after thee best day ever...
