Who Would have Thocht It!

I had coffee this morning with a friend whose house is an Aladdin's Cave of craft work.
Patchwork, knitting, embroidery, wall hangings, cushions and tiny bound books all vying for space in her work room.
What caught my eye today was this paper made from teabags and cucumber slices and printed with quotations. She is making a handcrafted book on the theme of tea with cucumber sandwiches.

And here was I thinking teabags were for making tea, perhaps using the discarded contents as a kind of compost on house plants, and cucumber slices for a sandwich filling or for rejuvenating tired eyes.

This all goes to show that one is never too old to learn.
Thank you for a very interesting morning, Marjory, even though I did not provide you with a used teabag!
