THEY WON!!!

I'm over the moon for her, she put in so much hard work and effort.  it was a very well deserved win.  They've scored cash for the school Science dept. and go through to the final!  So in June, they will be up against 10 other hubs from areas of Scotland, the final will be held at the Scottish Parlaiment building.  How exciting!  She's also won her Silver Crest Award, which is superb!  *CREST is the British Science Association’s flagship programme for young people, providing science enrichment activities to inspire and engage 5- to 19-year olds.  It is the only nationally recognised accreditation scheme for project work in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects. * Nabbed from their website.

It is a cauldron by the way, the knitting.  It will be felted and given to my friend on Friday for her birthday.  Not very exciting photo but of course Little Miss Science genius wouldn't let me blip her lovely, smiley happy face full of joy and win - so you get knitting - not my fault!
