Sunshine...

...then sleet, followed by sunshine, so I thought I'd nip out to the library to renew my book (still  only about two thirds through Gone Girl!) while it was still dry, and maybe grab a blip at the same time.

Big mistake!

Of course, the rain started up again just as I approached these horses, so it was a quick blip without even trying to coax them a bit closer. I was pleased to see all three of them wearing jackets. The large puddle is evidence of recent downpours.

I got home soaking wet, with my book - still dry, thank goodness - stuffed inside my coat. I wish someone would invent mini windscreen-wipers for specs...
