Casting about

That's the name of my fishing column in Trout and Salmon magazine and right now it's very apt as I'm struggling to find the words. It's cold, it's February for goodness sake, and I have to project forward to the May issue. So it's going to be Mayflies, I think (which mostly appear in June).

In the meantime I've been doing anything but writing the column, playing again on Quora. The question asked: What if William the Conqueror lost at Hastings? I couldn't resist.
