Strangely enough this is not derelict

someone lodges here and the Banyan tree growing out of the wall gives it a bit of shade in the afternoon.  Jaipur is known as the Pink City because of the colour of the local stone and minerals used for painting..  Pink is the colour of hospitality so Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the whole city pink to welcome Queen Victoria and the Crown  Prince when they visited in 1876.  It has been used ever since and it is now a law to do so although in certain areas I have seen indigo used for that keeps away the mosquitoes.

Second day of teeth fitting - nearly done - feeling a bit shattered.
