Musophobics, Murophobics, Suriphobics ........

 .......... look away now!

I was in the kitchen - I heard a woof woof woof ..... went into the sitting room and saw Shadow, with tail wagging and ears pointed, looking out of the side window ..... this is what he saw under the bird feeder doing a bit of a seed hoover.  He was a big boy too although it's hard to tell from this photo.

I don't have a problem with mice or rats although I wouldn't like a rat in the house or have one run across me (no issues with mice). He makes a good blip though ...... thanks, Mr Ratty.

Thank you very, very much for the lovely comments, stars and hearts on the hellebore yesterday for Flower Friday .... :-))

Smile of the Day

A mother rat and her three children crept out of their hole into the kitchen and began feasting on some delicious bits of food.  Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Mother Rat saw a cat slinking toward them. The cat was between the rats and their hole.

The mother rat puffed up her lungs and went, "Woof! Woof!"
The cat turned tail and ran.

With that Mother Rat quickly led her children back into their hole.
When they were settled and breathing normally Mother Rat said to her children:  " Now children, what is the lesson learned from that experience?"

" We don't know "  squeaked the babies

"It is this"  said their mother " it is always good to have a second language!"
