Morning all. Went up to the lake for an hour at 6am, mum(?) still sitting on 3 eggs; dad(?) floating around and occasionally bringing bits of weed for the nest. I thought it was a bit odd that he wasn't fishing but it was only when I got back did I realise why! As well as a stick on his back he has this!!
So they haven't lost an egg! Guess where I'll be going this evening!!
