Leith's disgrace

No, not the multicoloured tower blocks which are a well known feature of the skyline viewed from the Ocean Terminal car park (yes, we were there again...), but the puddle bestrewn waste ground you can see in the foreground. It's been a car park, and a showground, but basically it's just nothing. A waste. It could be a little park, but it isn't even that.

Ironic that you can see - on the far skyline - Edinburgh's disgrace, the national monument built, or at least not quite built, to commemorate the Scottish soldiers who fought in the Napoleonic wars that came to a conclusion two centuries ago.

So, that's it. Another month is over. Already a sixth of the way through 2015. Where does it go?

Rugby this afternoon.
