Contrasts

Last year I blipped the vine in our conservatory beginning to bud, greeting it as the first tangible sign of spring.

Today is officially the first day of spring but last night we lost our electricity for a few hours because of the severity of the gale blowing through and today the squally showers have been turning increasing to sleet and hail.  

There is now ice on the roof of the conservatory which provides a contrast to the little green vine leaves that are already appearing - once more.
