Stills at 40

The Stills Gallery in Edinburgh - a source of constant interest , inspiration and imagination for photography in the city and the country - will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.

This exhibition of posters from past exhibitions in the Gallery , taking place in the Members Lobby of the Scottish Parliament this week, is by way of a curtain raiser on the celebrations and I was pleased to have suggested it last year and be sponsoring it now as the Parliamentary session draws inexorably to a close.

PS : a good , if accidental, day to be blipping about photography. Welcome back Blipfoto, shorn of Polaroid and in member's hands....now let's move on to even better things !
