Wall Niche

I spotted this wall niche at St Nicholas church Chellington where an Art, Craft and Photography exhibition was being held this weekend. Sixty two photographs, fifteen pieces of craft and one hundred and eighty-three paintings were exhibited. I exhibited five photographs.
The wall niche is in the south wall at the east end in what was the alter area. The church was converted in 2005 being called The Chellington Centre and provides "an inspirational residential centre for groups of all ages and abilities to host their own programmes of activity. Situated in rural Bedfordshire countryside".
