Home is where your bit of wood is

One of the (few) advantages of our southern odyssey was that we did bring some things up to the Hebrides that have been languishing in my mother's garage. This piece of wood was one of them.
Originally I found it by a canal in Gloucestershire and since then it has lived over three separate mantlepieces and has been interpreted in many, many different ways by a variety of people. Is it an eagle? Is it a waterfall? Is it just a bit of wood?
Either way I like it and it is good to have it back on one of our walls!
