Of Rock Pools and Silverware...

A good day following on from a lovely evening  with family. Bacon and mushrooms on toast soothed the moderately fuzzy head and then we all went for a stroll on the beach at West Runton, exploring rock pools, beachcombing, walking and talking. The cliffs there are of sandstone and clay and as they erode, all kinds of interesting detritus and the occasional fossil ends up on the beach. A mammoth skeleton was found there, almost complete, a few years back.
Late afternoon I went out to a local pub, not being a subscriber to Sky TV, so that I could watch my football team competing for the first silverware of the season, the League Cup. Happily they won.
