Spring

So stormy last night!

4am headed out to bolt the pesky banging gate before it banged itself off its hinges.

5am refereed the hissy fit cat fight on the landing.

6am acquiesced to miaowing alarm clock, filled up cat food bowl.

7am, sneered at the encore miaowing, announcing furball's intention to sleep at the foot of the bed.

10.30am lift arrives, into town we go, me, Steph and the three boys, the boys heading off in one direction, me and Steph heading straight for breakfast.

1.30pm home, say goodbye to Steph, swap Sam for Tess, wave to Bearded Dave in passing.

2pm Lochter for tea, cake and some coccyx bashing rickety assault course ramp with some of the Wild Bunch pictured. Old school friends, their kids and a randomly selected husband, no less than award winning architect Dave Chouman. Award winning sports and radio presenter Dave Galloway was getting depressed at Parkhead, while award winning bearded man Dave was enjoying some peace at home. Three of us married men called Dave', we do well not to get confused.

4.30pm Sam, me and furballs head off for a walk.

5.30pm I get manic with the lopers and the buddleias in the garden

6.00pm Tess and I make blueberry muffins.

And the night is young.

Spring has sprung.
