Spiky

I have an irrational fear of pruning apples - even though I'm sure the outcome of doing the wrong thing can't be worse than damaging the shape and/or productivity of an apple tree.  Can it?  It definitely can't be worse than killing an apple tree.

Anyway, I hadn't read the book (again) and the weather was very changeable, so I chickened out and thought about other pruning.  I had the wrong jacket for the worcesterberries (here), as they need some sort of kevlar affair, so I faffed around a bit.

It wasn't wasted time - I now have an allotment strategy for this year- simplify.  Bought some seeds in the afternoon - hardly any.

The rugby was much more satisfying than yesterday's.
