Strontium

We decided to have a little holiday today, and headed up to the Corran Ferry and over to Ardnamurchan, then down to Morvern via Strontian, which has a fantastic claim to fame as the place where Strontium was first identified in 1790 (and, obviously, named).

A shortish walk at Ardtornish, with not that much rain. Amazing roads and winter colours all the way, and a decent cup of coffee in the 1970s on the way back.

No otters but no shortage of deer, countless brown birds of prey and a lovely woodpecker.

Now for an evening of very little computer,
