The Flying Wallendas

It was a tough Blip choice. People doing aerial "stuff", or people dressed up in Civil War era garb. Obviously, I went with the flyers.

I don't know what to think about The Flying Wallendas. On the one hand you have Nic Wallenda, the guy who walked across Niagra Falls a while back. The guy bringing up the rear here is not Nic, but Rick Wallenda. It makes you wonder how many of them are out there.

They billed it today as 4 generations of Wallendas. From a near 20 year old hanging upside down, to a 79 year old great grandma climbing up a 70 foot pole. Did you catch that? SHE IS 79!!! Rick the tightrope guy had to turn into Rick the plate-and-egg guy, just to give Grandma time to climb up the pole.

I could go into how the older performing women should stay away from tights, and that the guys should stay away from anything sparkly, but...who am I to judge? At least they're out there still trying to stay in "show" business.
