Drying peats

This is the intermediate stage of the peats harvest - in between being first cut and before being taken home and stacked at the door for the winter fuel. It will not take too many glorious days like today to make these peats as crisp and light as biscuits. Then come the task of bringing them home in a tractor trailer!
