Horse Dentist

We had a visit from the horse dentist today. This man travels all over the world looking after horses teeth - he is just back from Kuwait, looking after a Sheiks thoroughbreds, and now he is dealing with our two ponies! It is fascinating to watch as he fixes the harness and does his business. He thinks that the horses on the west of the islands have good teeth because of the sand and salt mixed in with the grazing keeps them smooth.
