Pacific Reefer out of Santa Marta, Co.

This ship regularly calls in to Dover Port. Called the Pacific Reefer it left the Colombian port of Santa Marta on February 20th laden with containers of refrigerated bananas (I presume).

It is just being approached by the Dover Pilot boat to take the pilot off before it steams on to the next port. The ship turned across the wind and swell to presumably provide shelter for the pilot who has to leap from a door somewhere in the hull onto the pilot boat.

It's been a bright and brisk day. The Principal was all held up in chaotic trains only just getting the hall in London to give a two-hour lecture on time - via Sevenoaks, Petts Wood and Waterloo and taxi. Trains are still snarled up on the evening return.
