Botanical supermarket

When we lived in a city, parking at the supermarket was rather boring. Either you were in the middle of tar macadam or at the edge by a concrete wall.

Now in Kendal we can park by a stone wall which is a botanical joy. Not only that in good supermarket style you get three for the price of one.

The photo shows Western Polypody (Polypodium interjectum) - the largest one, Hartstongue (Phyllitis scolopendrium) and Maidenhair Spleenwort (Asplenium trichomanes), the small one bottom centre.

It certainly makes pushing the trolley round more fun.
