There is a good story behind this photo, but I am sworn to secrecy!

Long day out on the Vallee Blanche in Chamonix.  Perfect weather, perfect snow.  I did make it from top to bottom without need for a ride on the chopper, but I will tell you that I got a free dinner at the end of the day.  lol

The immenseness of the Mont Blanc range, the glaciers and raw edge of nature mixing elbows with hard physics is just tremendous!!!
