Wound up in Wexford

The moon

When we got up this morning, it was raining - hard.  By the time I left for work, it had pretty much stopped, and it has continued to improve all day.

When leaving work, once again I could see the moon.  And there was another dramatic evening sky - for some reason all the clouds were concentrated in the area of sky where the sun was setting.  But it would have been boring to blip the same thing.

So, taking my cue from gravyC, I framed the moon in our oak tree, which was just catching the last rays of sunshine.

The sun is deceptive, of course - it's still blooming cold out there - though presumably not as cold as Edinburgh.  A friend who lives there put a picture of a snow covered garden onto Facebook this morning.
