Cold

It was cold. The pavements were black ice. Then it snowed. Actually not too bad for photographing, as the trenches all stood out in the snow.
But it was cold.
Can't draw with a glove on my left hand, but the feeling has returned to my fingers by now.
It was cold at the time, though. Even the Canadians complained.
