NO, NOT MINE

but a bunch of snowdrops we saw on our walk in Herstelle.
In the morning with much strength we could remove the roots of the laurel bush. It was a terribly sound but it had to be done. In all directions the roots had grown and with all our power we eventually did it happen. Piet Hein took pictures at the site. Some people make a work of art of the stumb.
I am not sure about that, I am afraid that it would make me feel guilty.
After lunch, the weather had deteriorated after the initially sunny start, we decided to drive the odd kilometers to Herstelle and walk from there.
First along the Weser in the direction of Beverungen, till we climbed the hill and took the footpath to the Burg and the cloister.
We had once made this walk but in the opposite direction; it is so nice to discover new views on old paths.

My haiku:

Appear little ones
And before long disappear
We behind longing

And the proverb:

To lick whole.

(= to heal of wounds or sores by licking)
