Outa Here!

Lately the jays have been more shy when I've been on the deck so I haven't been able to get any good photos of them... until today. For some reason they got bolder and I was able to catch this guy (or gal) taking off with no nut for a reward. Not sure what spooked him but off he went with his fluffy blue rump in the air. Love those jays!

Today is a quiet one for Arvin and me. Relaxed morning while I wait for... do I dare acknowledge? another camera to arrive from B&H. This afternoon it is haircut time and tonight Steve is coming over for dinner. Nice sunny quiet day.
