Throwing in the towel?

Never!

Persistence paid off and we finally have a fully functioning, non leaking loo.

Mr A painstakingly took the cistern to bits again last night and siliconed all the washers, bolts (whatever was leaking) before putting it all back together again.

We left it empty until tonight and so far, so good; no drips from anywhere.

He had a look at the reviews for the loo last night on the B&Q website; with hindsight we should have done this first!
The majority of reviews all complained about little niggles, such as the leaky washers and the fact the flush mechanism needed cable tying to secure it to work properly (something Mr A had already done). However, they also said once these issues had been addressed, it is a fab little loo. I have to agree....it looks ace!

I added some of the little touches last night & Mr A fitted the blind; it's looking good now it's all coming together.

I called into Boundary Mill after work to browse the towel selection, as green towels are seemingly hard to find.
I knew there would be a good selection here though and found the perfect shade of green towel for a bargain price. Bonus :-)
