Sauna Fairy

This statue is one of three outside a local sauna.  Called tonttu, they have been specially imported from Finland and are described as  miniature, mythical creatures believed to live in forests near saunas hence the Japanese description of sauna fairies.  I quite like them ;) 

Fairies are invisible and inaudible like angels.  But their magic sparkles in nature.
