Staghorn Fern

Another steaming hot day. If you wanted to be be outdoors it had to be before mid-morning, when the temperature had already reached 34C and the humidity was 80%.

This massive Staghorn Fern grows on a tree on one of my walking routes; they are another of Queensland's impressive native wild plants. This one was around a metre across!
