Perfection......

Another stunning day with wonderful sunshine and very reasonable temperatures - so wonderful after such a long drawn out winter!
After work I went for a quick trip to look at the hedgerows which are sparking into life like a beautiful phoenix rising out of the dead leaves ashes. 
These lovely crocus were growing in a colourful clump along the road near the turn off for Christ's hospital, a splash of purple in the mud. 
I stopped and picked just one, so I could capture it's beauty forever (I need to add I never pick rare or endangered species!).
It really is the most exquisite colour......oh how I love spring!!!!!
