Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Granddaughters

Finally did have a lovely row this morning with my rowing buddy - we just waited for it to warm up a tad.

It’s been a couple weeks since we had our granddaughters over here after school and we’ve missed them.  Thursday is our day to pick up Fiona and Tatum wanted to come too. (and sell us some cookies for her choir fundraiser!)    Some people had just brought their old former Annapolis Naval Academy training sailboat (a Navy 44- there were 20 made for the navy in 1985) in to our slip on the dock to see about renting it  (they are going to be here , so maybe a future blip....) so we had to check it out and they were nice to give the girls a tour…these 2 were not born yet when we sold our boat that used to occupy this spot.   Now that’s sobering… it doesn’t seem that long ago…H still misses it.

Played “school” with Fiona and she tried to tell me she’s very good at ACTING shy.  (she’s always the new kid a school)  She was only  a “little bit shy” on the sailboat with strangers…some games and drawing and pancakes for dinner and Tatum was happy to take an old roller suitcase home with her for our upcoming trip with her in April.  More pix from today on flickr including Maple the very funny puppy who is growing and oh my has so much energy!
