Saturday at last!

This morning I took the kids into Christchurch on the bus.  It was really good to spend some time with Oliver.  He is in his first year at school and I am really noticing how precious our weekends are not that he is at school all day.

We were chased by swans at the Quay, then walked along the river and fed the ducks, before going into town to do some shopping - mainly to stock up on birthday cards for forthcoming birthdays.

I did treat the kids to a drinks and biscuit in Costa's before we headed home.  

Oh, and the bus journey was fun....I don't use buses very often and was a bit surprised to find that the drivers on both our bus into Christchurch and the bus home failed to stop at several bus stops, even though people were pressing the stop bell!  He missed our stop on the way home but luckily pulled over just after the stop when an elderly lady told him off.
