Glam Darling

Here's Gina, mid way through dying her roots. When she got me in to put the gloves on to help with the back, I couldn't resist grabbing the camera. We are so Fashion Daaaarling.

Spent a good few hours today scraping the paint from the bricks around the fireplace with help from the heat gun. Apparently I need to do this before I cover them in mortar to make a smooth surface to lay tiles on.

I was at it for about 3 hours and I've done about 2/3rds of it. Talk about a pig of a job that no-one will ever notice!

Having said that, getting the paint off does change the feel of the room already, so hopefully that means we're on the right track!
