Maybe?

Firstly, thanks to everyone for the blipday wishes yesterday. You're a lovely bunch of nutters and it's great to know that there's someone out there who actually bothers to look at this nonsense.

As for the wine... this may be a moment to mark indeed. For the past ten or twelve years I've been having an unpredictable allergic reaction to wine, especially the red. Believe me having your face, nose and mouth swell up to the point you look like you're the loser in a boxing match tends to put you off most things. After having tried various red wines, including organic, and it turning into a bit of Russian roulette as to whether I'd react or not I've basically given it up.

However recently a friend who has a gastric intolerance to red wine said she had discovered that she could drink Australian Shiraz without reacting - not any Shiraz, has to be the Ozzie version. So we tried a bottle last weekend... no reaction... could be a fluke... could also be the old allergy trick of having to have had something at least once for your immune system to decide that it's a baddy and attack it the next time... so, we tried another bottle tonight... still no reaction.

I hesitate to say this might be safe tipple from now on but I shall continue to experiment, antihistamines on standby!
