The Rhino

White rhinoceros, Ceratotherium simum. Captive. Blair Drummond Safari Park, Scotland. Up-close.

White rhino in the wild are being killed by poachers at an unsustainable rate to satisfy demand from the illegal asian market for rhino horn. Urgent and effective conservation action is required. If we cannot save a species as iconic as the rhino, what hope have we got for any other species?
